The task for DN32 was:

Created the video using clips from public domain videos. Most of the basic sounds (except some drum samples) was created using my modular synthesizer. Arranged, processed and mixed in Ableton Live.

The video clip made me think of space/deep water/industrial ambience. I used the Vermona Perfourmer for most of the original sounds. All of them severely processed in Elektron Machinedrum or Ableton Live.

Soundtrack music was the task for this one, my favourite game again. I did music to a selection of the movie ‘The Fountain’. I watched the clip over and over and tried to come up with a song that sounded the way the pictures felt; it ended up as an ambient track with some melody and even drums entering in the middle of the track.

This piece was created in blindness. I failed to import the video for my selected piece. However, I made this soothing and calm piece to ease the input from the most horrendous video/tv recording.
Instructions: When the TV reports bad news or the horror movie gets to horrendous, simply mute your receiver and play this piece instead. You will experience a calm sensation – vibrating and resonating with the very fabric of your upset mind and soothing it to a deep meditative calm.
