Woohoo! Minimal Berlin techno stompp? Well, perhaps not so minimal, but still some really nice tracks were created, some of which almost made us dance on the spot the moment we heard them. You listen and decide for yourself! Check the tracks out on the DN25 page.
Dogma Noveau 25 will hit the fan on Aug 13th. The word is out that this DN will be something out of the ordinary. The mission for this DN session is nothing less than:
Create music with inspiration from the Berlin techno scene: Minimal techno-style dance music.
As always, the results will be posted on the Output page shortly after – check back for some minimal electronic techno stompp!
After a short internal debate, the task for DN24 was selected in a somewhat despotic fashion:
Create a remix of one of the following songs:
1) NIN – Corona Radiata
2) NIN – God Given
3) NIN – 34 Ghosts IV
4) How To Destroy Angels – A Drowning
The DN24 event was held at June 22nd. Listen to all of the results and leave a note with your feedback.
Monday evening hit the fan and another set of compositions was spread at the Dogma event. The twentythird gathering was a huge success/breakdown of dogmatic rules. Hear the result yourselves and be the judge.
Objectives :
Create a track from a field recording form the mining plant in Norberg 2008.
and/or:
Remix one of the Impulse dogma tracks from DN22.

Between October 2009 and March 2010 we have been running a side project focusing on collaboration. The resulting music is 10+ minutes of Dogmatic audioficial joy. Read all about the concept and listen to the beautiful music at the Collaboration 2x page.
The world is yet again enriched with more than one hour of new, fresh electronic music. The DN22 could be the most content packed project ever. The task for DN22 has been was as follows:
Create a song that has a time signature of 7/8 and/or 15/16.
The Dogma collective were very pleased with the result of this simple time warp trick.
An optional dogma was also set:
Make music from one sound pulse using effects and feedback
The task promised a very diverse collection of tracks and noone left dissapointed. As always the dinner/listening/reflecting exercise was very inpsirational.

The objective of DN 13 was to create a remix of the song “Lips on Fire” by Emmon. As a result a couple of remarcable remixes were created. We have now received permission to provide dowload/listen links to the remixes from Emmon herself (and for which we are greatful).

A new DN round is approaching. The world is yet again about to become enriched with new electronic music. The task for DN22 has been decided:
Create a song that has a time signature of 7/8 and/or 15/16.
The date for DN22 has been set to Apr 19. As usual, the results will be uploaded shortly after. Check back then!
